Thanks JP. I love your blog too. It was alot of (cold) fun to run around in the snow. I prefer it, over the rain for sure. We ran at Discovery yesterday! The roasted root veg were the perfect (healthy) comfort food!

I loved running in Seattle when it snowed and the city would come to a stand still. I lived on top of Queen Anne and would run out to Discovery Park through the trees, down to the water and back. Your cooking is inspiring because of your keen sense of seasonality! The roasted root vegetables is spot on for a snowy day!

I adore both roasted roots and veggies, and Brussels are one of my VERY favorites. Right now I'm eying the last three stalks of Brussels in the garden and will harvest them Christmas morning for our Christmas Feast. I plan a simple pan roasting with garlic, olive oil, sea salt and freshly crushed dried sweet pepper flakes.

Your roasted recipe will be my New Year's Day Feast - Thank you!

Nice new website!! Enjoy the snow...we may be snowed out too. Waiting to see if we got canceled. If so, will just have to get in some more snorkeling....
